Three Vietnamese souls were baptized recently at the International Missionary Society (IMS), the Facebook profile IMS Asian Division confirmed today, October 25, 2026, by publishing photos of the event and by specifying that the glory belonged to God. Pastor Roland de la Paz, Leader of the Asian Division at the IMS, performed the baptisms. The daily temperature in Vietnam, South East Asia, varied between 22 and 35 degrees Celsius, which was, of course, the best weather for a Christian baptism.
Next Sabbath, on October 31, 2026, Sabbath School offerings shall be collected worldwide at the IMS for the Lord’s work in Vietnam where the Christians, members of the IMS, last year reached 14, according to the missionary report written by Pastor Roland de la Paz.
Vietnam, officially the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV), a developing country at the eastern edge of Mainland Southeast Asia, with an area of about 331,000 square kilometers (128,000 sq mi) and a population of over 100 million, is the world’s 15th most populous state and one of the two communist states in Southeast Asia. The Nguen – Vietnam’s last imperial dynasty, surrendered to France in 1883, while in 1945 the communist revolutionary Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam’s independence from the Empire of Japan and in 1954 even from France.
