A summer Christian conference was held in the Swedish Field at the IMS in mid-August, from August 14 to 15, 2026, in Motala, Sweden, Pastor Vladimire Marinov, European Division Committee Member, announced on August 18, 2026, via Facebook. Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at the IMS, participated in the event and preached the sermon on Sabbath, August 15, 2026, in the morning under the title “The Spiritual Friendliness”. In his sermon, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov underlined the need of the church members to be baptized with the Holy Spirit Who would produce true friendliness, love and unity among the brethren, in order to be truly converted. In addition, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov gave the example of John the Evangelist who, before becoming converted, was, together with James, known as “Son of the Thunder” (Mark 3:17), but after his conversion, he became “the Apostle of the Love”. Furthermore, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov emphasized that the bearing the cross, the renewal and the baptism with the Holy Spirit should happen daily in the life of the faithful Christian. And the prayer to the Lord for the Early and the Latter Rain of the Holy Spirit would secure us the strength, the power and the flight in God’s work, in order to be spiritually fruitful and blessed.
