Cooking classes were given in the Cameroon Field at IMS 280 times locally and by correspondence in the last six years, from January 27, 2015, to November 21, 2021, whereat 3666 souls were taught, 336 permanent interested men, women and children in both Cameroon and other countries – won, and a total of 17 towns, cities and villages – visited, Sister Yvonne Solomo, Family Department Director of the Cameroon Field, reported on November 30, 2021. Three souls – two brothers and a sister in the faith of Christ, were baptized as a spiritual fruit from this activity, and they became part of the missionary work of the church, Sister Solomo added.

Among the recipes taught during the cooking classes are those for healthy products as wholemeal bread, chapatti and biscuits made from cereals and pulses from the region, such as: wheat, corn, sorghum, millet, rice, soy, pigeon pea, lentils, peas and beans, as well as soy, coconut, peanut, fresh corn and baobab milk, soy and avocado mayonnaise, beside tofu, vegetable sausage, chickpea and potato vegan omelets. The cooking classes include theoretical courses about health, the nutritional values of foods, and even practical skills, such as making fields or small vegetable gardens,  preserving the products of the field or building own bread oven.
