Pastor Parmenas Shirima from Tanzania, one of the best Christian ministers at IMS, fell asleep in the Lord from “pneumonia (Covid 19) and other conditions”, Brother Josiah Daniel announced today, July 11, 2021, on his Facebook profile. According to the Linkedin profile of Pastor Shirima, he was Pastor at IMS since August 1988, chairman and lecturer at BAMI College in Nairobi, Kenya, since January 2007 and Director at the African Division since July 2012.

I remember Pastor Parmenas Shirima during several delegates election sessions of General Conference at IMS, he was known with his meekness, noble humbleness and silence. Without doubt, Pastor Parmenas Shirima learned from Christ who was ‘gentle and humble in heart’ (Matthew 11:29) and he will be for sure resurrected for eternal life during the second coming of God’s Son on this earth, because God is “Father of mercies and God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3).
