Our sister in the faith of Jesus, Sister Myra Thorthon, the cook at the Norman Park-based headquarters of the American Union at the IMS, needs our urgent prayer and support, because she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer, Pastor Ciro Arevalo, one of the best Christian ministers at the IMS, announced via Facabook on February 9, 2024. USD 3 791 of the needed USD 20 000 are already collected up to now, because Sister Myra Thorthon plans to attend the Eden Valley Lifestyle Center in Loveland, Colorado, as they have a unique program for cancer patients.
It is not difficult to pray for a sister in need, when we know Lord’s promise: “Pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16).
