Two souls, Sister Almamy Souma, daughter of the Bible worker in Senegal, and Brother Gnapou Thea, were baptized near the city of  Ziguinchor, Senegal, on Friday, April 9, 2021, in the mouth of the Casamace River by elder Daniel Kimeu who works in the neighbor country Gambia, Brother Kimeu himself reported. On Sabbath, April 10,, 2021, the Lord’s Supper was celebrated and the two newly accepted souls were added to the Ziguinchor Church. In addition, elder Kimeu was accompanied by a brother from Gambia, and his wife who is an interested soul.

Senegal and Gambia are countries in growth in the missionary map of the International Missionary Society. Ziguinchor, with its population of over 230,000 (2007 estimate), is the capital of the Ziguinchor Region, and the chief town of the Casamance area of Senegal, lying at the mouth of the Casamance River.
