Two souls, a sister and a brother in the faith of Jesus, were baptized in Ghana, West Africa, in the first quarter of 2024, Pastor Simon Agbey, who performed the baptism, confirmed on April 1, 2024. Usually, we say, the warm weather is the perfect one for the Christian baptism, however, on February 14, 2024, for instance, the daily temperature in the town of Bolgatanga in Ghana reached 44 degree Celsius, while Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana, became the vice champion of the heatwave with 43 degree Celsius.

Ghana, the second most populous country in West Africa with more than 32 million inhabitants, has a territory of 239,567 km2 (92,497 sq mi. On March 6, 1957, Ghana, a unitary constitutional democracy led by a president who is head of state and head of government, became the first country in Sub-Saharan Africa which gained its independence.
