An important virtual missionary Christian seminar for all brethren under the motto “Arise, shine” from Isaiah 60:1, organized by the Evangelism Department at the General Conference of the IMS, was held in Spanish via Zoom yesterday, on July 26, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in USA (Central) and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, for instance, in Cedartown, US-American local time (which corresponded to1:00 pm to 3:00 pm local time in Berlin, Germany) on the subject “How to Help Nominal Adventists to Understand the Truth”. Pastor Pablo Hunger, Leader of the Evangelism Department at the General Conference of the IMS, was the moderator of the meeting with the Zoom ID 892 2182 9090 and the Access Code IMS1844.
In his lecture, Pastor Pablo Hunger underlined the development of the Christian reform movement and mentioned the four principles of God’s Christian reform message – the Sabbath from the fourth commandment of God, the Christian family, the health reform and the triple angel message for our time today. In addition, Pastor Pablo Hunger emphasized the danger of replacing God’s message with human ideas. Pastor Orlando Florez Moreno, Pastor David Morales V. and Pastor Jonathan Rodriguez took part in the event as well.
In his introduction lesson, Pastor Orlando Florez Moreno mentioned the important experience of victory, according to Revelation 3:21, as a characteristic of the saved Christians who would enter the kingdom of God. Furthermore, Pastor Orlando Florez Moreno reminded of the testimony of the Spirit of Prophecy that God has sincere souls among the nominal Adventists and the apostatized protestant churches. Pastor David Morales V. presented the useful book “Adventist Myths about the Reform Movement” by Pastor Gerhard Hunger and specified that the liberty of conscience should not be used for avoiding the faithfulness toward God, but to let it be educated by the Holy Spirit, according to John 8:32, in order to be guided by the biblical principles of the pacifism and the vegetarianism as rules in both Eden and the future heavenly kingdom. Pastor Jonathan Rodriguez explained the true biblical meaning of the Christian term reform: reorganization of ideas, in order to remain faithful to God and separation from the apostatized church, according to Revelation 18:4. In his second presentation, Pastor Orlando Florez Moreno reminded of the true meaning about the parable of the wheat and the tares: the faithful church members represent the wheat, while the members with secret sins represent the tares. On the other hand, the church members living in open sin should be separated from God’s church, in order to avoid apostasy. In his final summary, Pastor Pablo Hunger revealed as well the biblical truth that God’s church existed and would exist until the end, in order to defend the true Christ’s doctrine and evangelize the world, even during a persecution, according to Acts 15:2, 22, 25.
