Two souls, two brothers in the faith of Jesus, were baptized last week on Guimaras Island, Philippines, Pastor Roland De La Paz who performed the baptism announced on Facebook on Friday, October 21, 2022. The baptism is part of the medical mission Pastor Roland De La Paz has started in Bliss, a barangay in the municipality of Buug, in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines, as well as in Guimaras, an island province located in Philippine Western Visayas region, including the towns San Miguel and Jordan as targets of the missionary trip.
Guimaras, known in the past as Himal-us, was a sub-province of Iloilo before its converting into an independent province on May 22, 1992. The province which comprises a total area of 604.57 square kilometers (233.43 sq mi) has five municipalities.
