Three souls, two sisters and a brother in the faith of Jesus, were baptized in Aibatin Cotonou, Republic of Benin, Western Africa, on December 31, 2022, during a Christian youth conference at the International Missionary Society (IMS), held there from December 29, 2022, to the last day of 2022, Pastor Simon Satsi Agbey who performed the baptism, confirmed on January 2, 2023.

Cotonou, the economic capital city of Benin and at the same time the biggest city in the country with its approximately 1,2 million inhabitants, is located in the south-eastern part of the country, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Nokoué Lake, and is known by the National University of Benin, situated there. In addition, the city of Cotonou lies 40 km away from Benin’s capital Porto-Novo and about 100 km south from the country’s ancient capital Abomey.
