A series of successful Christian missionary activities are being applied now in the local church at the International Missionary Society (IMS) in Gambia, West Africa, Brother Josiah Daniel revealed on January 6, 2023. The missionary work in Gambia includes, beside Bible study, education for children in a Christian educational center called New Life Children’s Center, as well as at the Charles Fowlis Senior Secondary School. In addition, Christian education is provided especially for girls and boys in the village of Tubakuta, Gambia, as well.

Tubakuta is a village in Western Gambia with a population of 1350 inhabitants and elevation of 31 m (102 feet) over the sea level. Gambia, the smallest country within mainland Africa with its area of 10,689 square km, has a population of 2,413,403 citizens, as of the 2022 census.
