Ministerial symposium about church history was held from July 8 to July 14, 2019, in San Jose, Costa Rica, the Education Department at the IMS General Conference, the co-organizer of the event together with the Ministerial Research Institute in Costa Rica, reported on its Facebook site.  The seminar included essential Christian subjects, such as The History of Education, The Test of Sabbath Observance in Antiquity, and the Four Crusades.

San Jose, the capital and the largest city of Costa Rica with its 2 million inhabitants, is the home to the headquarters of the IMS of SDA-Reform movement in the country. In addition, San Jose, known as Ibero-American Capital of Culture in 2006, is popular among the South American cities for its high standard of life and high level of safety.
