One soul, our sister in the faith of Jesus Samantha Dench, was baptized in the local church at the IMS in London, UK, today, on Sabbath, October 19, 2024, by Pastor Silas Teixeira, European Division Secretary at the IMS, Brother Yavor Cholakov from the British Field at the IMS confirmed. About 30 people, including the daughter and the husband of sister Samantha Dench, attended the baptism, which was performed in a swimming pool, and it was a wonderful Sabbath we had today, Brother Yavor Cholakov added.
Furthermore, the newly baptized sister had a very interesting experience regarding her baptism. Four years ago, she received a bible study by Pastor Daniel Garcia at the IMS as a preparation for the baptism, however, she said, she was yet not ready to be baptized. And today, she was ready for the most important event in her life, showing reverence and responsibility before God.
The headquarters of the British Field at the IMS is situated in Chelmsford, UK, a city in the City of Chelmsford district in the county of Essex, England, located 30 miles (50 kilometres) north-east of London, whose population of the urban area was 110,625 in the 2021 Census, while the wider district had even 181,763 inhabitants.
