One more soul, our Sister in Christ Lyubomira Kircheva, was baptized today, on Sabbath, July 9, 2022, near Bulgarian capital’s suburb Novi Iskar, Brother Svetoslav Yordanov, Bulgarian Field Vice President, confirmed. Pastor Dimitar Vlachkov, Bulgarian Field President, performed the baptism in the Iskar river, Brother Svetoslav Yordanov added. Today, the Sofia local church at IMS has already 18 members.
Known since 809 AD as Sredets, Sofia, the 13th largest city in the European Union, is surrounded by mountainsides, such as Vitosha by the southern side, Lyulin by the western side, and the Balkan Mountains by the north, which makes it the third highest European capital after Andorra la Vella and Madrid. Sofia is also known for its 49 mineral and thermal springs.
