Christian national conference for children and parents under the motto “Children Who Look for Jesus” was held in Quiché, Guatemala, from November 6 to November 10, 2019, Pastor Pablo Hunger, General Missionary Leader of the International Missionary Society of SDA – Reform Movement, reported. More than 150 children and more than 400 brethren, including guests from both El Salvador and Venezuela attended the conference, Pastor Hunger added. According to the program, public lectures were held for parents every evening.

Located to the north-west of Guatemala City, with its population of 955,705, as of 2011, and 21 municipalities, Quiché, one of the most populous departments of Guatemala with capital Santa Cruz del Quiché, is predominantly of Mayan descent.
