The Christian Pastor at the International Missionary Society (IMS) Elías Guardado, an young 30- year-old servant of God who was declared missing in the morning on Friday, June 13, 2025, and was found dead along the side of the road from San Juan to Erandique, in the hidden zone known as Quebrada Seca, fell asleep in Christ yesterday, on June 14, 2025, near the town of Erandique, Honduras, https://tiempo.hn and https://www.latribuna.hn/ reported yesterday. According to https://www.tunota.com/, two more young people – Nessler Milla and the 20-year-old Carlos Daniel Reyes, experienced a violent death in the late hours on Friday, June 13, 2025, and in the early morning on Sabbath, June 14, 2025, respectively, however, the National Police of Honduras did not reveal the causes and the motives of the crimes.
The death of the faithful Christian Pastor Elías Guardado is a confirmation of Christ’s prophecy in Matthew 23:34 – “…I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill…”. According to an interview (https://www.facebook.com/otvdigital504/videos/1113216920838315) of his uncle, Pastor Inocencio Guardado Mejia, Pastor Elías Guardado had a two-year-old son and was married to Sister Nelly Salmerón from Nicaragua, and the cause of the crime was a carjacking, because the borrowed car Pastor Elías Guardado wanted to return to a brother in the faith was not found.
