Five souls are preparing themselves for the Christian baptism at the IMS in Ivory Coast, known as Côte d’Ivoire as well, Elder Allamon Finagnon Bruno from the local missionary field announced. In addition, the Côte d’Ivoire Mission Field has 17 baptized members and 41 interested souls, as of the first quarter of 2024, Elder Allamon Finagnon Bruno confirmed.

Cote d’ Ivoire became a protectorate of France in 1843 and was consolidated as a French colony in 1893, while the independence was achieved in 1960 under the leadership of Felix Houphouȅt-Boigny who ruled the country until 1993. After a coup d’état in 1999 and two civil wars – first between 2002 and 2007, and then during 2010-2011, Republic of Cote d’ Ivoire adopted a new constitution in 2016.
