A group of scientists, created in 2021, which comprised three Turkish and American universities under the name “Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark Research Team”, analyzed at the end of October approximately 30 rock and soil samples from the Doğubayazıt district, Turkey, where the remnants of Noah’s Ark were supposed to be found, and reached to the conclusion that “clayey materials, marine materials and seafood” were used in the region between 5500 and 3000 BC, New York Post reported on October 28, 2023, quoting the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet.

Earlier, on July 31, 2016, the Denver Post announced that the Colorado Timberframe company built, for the first time in the world, a full size replica of Noah’s Ark, according to its biblical description in  Genesis 6:14-22, for an amusement park called Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky.
