Five souls, brethren in the faith of Jesus, were baptized today, on September 3, 2023, in Toronto, Canada, during the Christian conference of Canadian Field under the motto “Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.“ (Hebrews 12:2), Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at IMS, announced on Facebook.
Yesterday, on Sabbath, September 2, 2023, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov preached the morning sermon with the subject taken from the motto of the conference, emphasizing that only Christ, our Lord and Savior, would give us the key for the narrow gate (Matthew 7:13) which is the only escape from the growing cold of the love of many (Matthew 24:12) in the evil end times that we live in.
