One soul, a brother in the faith of Jesus, was baptized yesterday, on Sabbath, April 18, 2026, in the local church at the IMS in the town of Quinchia, Colombia, South America, Pastor Pablo Hunger, Leader of the Evangelism Department at the General Conference, confirmed through photos published via Facebook. The daily temperature in the town of Quinchia, Department of Risalda, Colombia, South America, reached yesterday 18 degrees Celsius which is the average annual temperature of its subtropical highland climate as well.


Located approximately 110 km away from the capital Pereira, Quinchia, also known as Villa de los Cerros (Village of the Hills), a town and municipality in the Department of Risalda, Colombia, South America, had an estimated population of 27,890, as of the 2023 census. In addition, Quinchia, which was formalized on November 29, 1888, and declared a municipality on April 24, 1912, is located in the Colombian coffee growing axis, part of of the “Coffee Cultural Landscape” UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
