Brother Anatoliy Zalozniy from Kriviy Rig, Ukraine, the 24-year old youngest son of Pastor Olexander Zalozniy from the Ukrainian Field at the IMS, fell asleep in the Lord on September 3, 2026, in the evening, after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the E16 highway along Eggemoveien, just north of Hønefoss in the Ringerike municipality, Norway, Scandinavia, well informed sources confirmed. Our hearts are now “in the house of mourning” (Ecclesiastes 7:4), as the Lord’s Word has predicted and revealed. Sometimes, some of the youngest and noblest God’s servants became victims of the enemy, however, the Lord’s plan would include the resurrection of the righteous children of God, as the Lord’s Word in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 confirmed, and this revelation was our consolation in that case.
Sometimes, our brethren on this earth have to suffer the experience of our heavenly Father Himself through the loss of their dearest child. My paternal grandmother had a similar experience. She lost his son who was my father, on March 20, 1964, after a hit of an Iranian minibus’ side mirror on his temple, while he, born in the spring of 1939, was waiting for a friend on the edge of the street. However, our consolation was not only in the fact that the Lord became our Father, according to Psalm 68:5, but also in the revelation that “precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints” (116:15) which is a promise about the resurrection for the eternal life.
