Bulgaria, today officially Republic of Bulgaria, was founded in 681 A. D., and in 9th century the Bible was translated into Bulgarian by the first Bulgarian Christian apostles, Cyril and Methodius. During the reign of the King Ivan Asen the Second from 1218 to 1241, Bulgaria’s territory reached three seas – the Black Sea, the Aegean Sea, called by the Bulgarians the White Sea as well, and Adriatic Sea – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Asen_II, and after his victory against Theodore Komnenos Doukas, King Ivan Asen the Second freed the captured Greek soldiers who belonged to the army of Theodore Komnenos Doukas, gave them to eat and drink, and let them go home, applying the Lord’s Word in Romans 12:20.
