One soul, Brother Koo Tae-beom, a Brother in the faith of Jesus, was baptized last Sabbath, on December 7, 2024, in the city of Samcheonpo, South Korea, Pastor Woonsan Kang, Leader of the Youth Department at the General Conference of IMS, who performed the baptism, announced the good news today, on December 9, 2024. Brother Jeong Seong-gu, Bible worker at the Korean Field, and Sister Choi Yoon-sun, the wife of Pastor Woonsan Kang, attended the event.
Samcheonpo, a town in Sacheon-si, South Gyeongsang, is situated nearby to the quarter Beolli-dong, as well as near Donggeum-dong, at the coast of the South Sea. On December 7, 2024, the daily temperature in the city of Samcheonpo, South Korea, was 7 degree Celsius, which could be a challenge for some brethren in Africa or in Mexico, who would be candidates for a Christian baptism.
