Two souls, a sister and a brother in the faith of Jesus, were accepted in the Christian church of IMS in Guatemala, SMI A.V. Guatemala announced on Facebook on January 23, 2023, via video clip: https://www.facebook.com/100079859216883/videos/581567900482721?idorvanity=2534772053441136 . The sister in the faith received Psalm 32: 8 as greeting: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you”, while the brother in the faith was greeted with Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Guatemala, officially Republic of Guatemala, a country in Central America, bordered to the north and west by Mexico; to the northeast by Belize and the Caribbean; to the east by Honduras; to the southeast by El Salvador and to the south by the Pacific Ocean, is the most populous country in Central America and the 11th most populous country in the Americas with an estimated population of around 17.6 million. The name “Guatemala” comes from the Nahuatl word Cuauhtēmallān, or “place of many trees”.
