The Church of Sofia, Bulgaria, at IMS collected money donation for Ukraine yesterday, on Sabbath, May 28, 2022, and the whole sum of the donation amounted BGN 1400 and EUR 50, Sister Eva Kircheva, Bulgarian Field Secretary and Treasurer, confirmed. The donation was given to help our brethren from Ukrainian Field and will be transferred to the bank account of Ukrainian Field at IMS, Sister Eva Kircheva added.
Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria with 1 549 465 inhabitants, was called Sredets in the Middle Ages, because, being in the center of the Balkans, it is midway between the Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea, and closest to the Aegean Sea which the Bulgarians called White Sea.
