The second Christian Conference in Cape Verde was held on December 7, 2019, Nestor Loaiza from Cape Verde reported. One more soul was baptized during the conference and there are eight interested souls with the desire to be baptized, Nestor Loaiza added. Pastor Pablo Hunger, Leader of the Missionary department at the General Conference of the IMS, conducted the baptism.

Uninhabited until the 15th century, Cape Verde is an over 4,000 sq. km island country including an archipelago of 10 volcanic islands in the central Atlantic Ocean as part of the Macaronesia ecoregion, along with the Azores, Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Savage Isles. The Cape Verde peninsula in Northwest Africa is 570 km away from the islands.
