Sister Maria Simeonova, a faithful church piano player and church member from the generation of the pioneers of Seventh Day Adventist Reform-Movement’s work of the IMS in the Bulgarian Field, died on January 30, 2020, at the age of 93. The funeral took place on February 2, 2020, in Bankya, a suburb of Sofia, Bulgaria.

Sister Maria Simeonova who was born at the end of March 1926 kept the faith and her fine sense of humor till the end of her life. Days before her death she played on her home organ and, when she was visited for the last time by young church members in her modest flat, she asked them, while she was being examined by our brother Nikolay Dinev, medical doctor and neurologist: “Should I already leave?”
