Seventeen souls, twelve sisters and five brothers in the faith of Jesus, were baptized on December 4, 2022, in the church of Rukaragata, Western Rwanda, Pastor Ngoboka Steven from Rwandan Field at the International Missionary Society (IMS) who performed the baptism, confirmed on January 6, 2023.

Rukaragata, a town located in Rutsiro District (Western Province), lies about 46 mi (or 74 km) west of Kigali, the country’s capital city. Located a few degrees south of the Equator, Rwanda, officially Republic of Rwanda, a landlocked country  in the Great Rift Valley of Central Africa, where the African Great Lakes region and Southeast Africa converge, is bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Democratic Republic of the Congo.
